How to Help
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and although we can't acknowledge each supporter personally, every expression of support is greatly appreciated!!

Just as your expenses have been rising in your households and businesses, so have the operating expenses of the fire department. In the fall of 2019 we took delivery of a new KME fire engine with a price tag of $552,000. Our annual fund drive is focusing on the payment of this new engine. The payment each year is $45,000. The fund drive pays for approximately half of this while the rest is raised through other fundraising efforts, grants and other financial donations. Due to our community's overwhelming support, in 2021 we were able to pay an extra $70,000 on our loan! This isn't easy to do! Besides the loan for the fire engine we have all the operating expenses for the fire department. It costs us roughly $10,000 to outfit one firefighter with turnout gear and SCBA!
Our auxiliary, social members, firefighters, fire police and EMT's are busy each month with fund raising and public relations activities. We appreciate all your support in patronizing them!!
Please mail any monetary donations to P.O. Box 83 Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853. Make checks payable to: Fremont Fire Department. Or donate via the button below.

We are excited to partner with Community Aid! You can take your donations of good, used items to the Community Aid store in Selinsgrove and mention that you are donating on behalf of the Fremont Fire Department and give them our partner number 30118. Volunteer
As you are all aware, our community continues to grow. With the influx of more residents, there is more demand for our emergency services. In 2021 our respoders have been on 339 calls. These included structure fires, animal rescues, EMS, traffic control, field fires, wild fires, downed trees, transfers, landing zone, investigations and public service.
Your fire department has been protecting your community for 91 years and is highly trained to respond to your emergencies 24/7/365. The firefighters are attending training every month and the EMT's must test every three years to keep up their skills. We are always in need of volunteers for firefighting, junior firefighting, EMT's and fire police.
We also need social members to help in our administrative and fundraising activities.
